Role Description
We are seeking a Python Engineer specialized in FastAPI who is also comfortable building and integrating React frontends. You will design and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend APIs, ensure seamless frontend integrations, and collaborate across Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver customer‑ready features end‑to‑end.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable REST APIs with FastAPI and occasionally WebSockets
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and SQLAlchemy models
- Develop and integrate React/TypeScript frontends
- Implement authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0/JWT and RBAC
- Write unit, integration, and contract tests with pytest
- Improve performance, reliability, logging, monitoring, and observability
- Deploy and maintain services on AWS
- Work closely with Product, QA, Data Engineering, and DevOps
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Python development
- Production experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
- Strong PostgreSQL skills
- Practical React + TypeScript experience
- Testing, type safety, and CI/CD experience
- Understanding of OAuth/JWT, RBAC, security, and compliance/PII
NICE TO HAVE
- AWS and Docker/IaC experience
- Redis, Celery/RQ, and WebSockets
- B2B data products, analytics, or report-generation systems
- Experience designing domain-oriented APIs
Conditions and Benefits
- A minimum gross salary of 60.000 EUR per year (overpayment possible)
- Flexible working time
- Permanent full-time contract (38,5 h / week)
